Peter provides advice and executive coaching services in business management, change and project management and customer focus. His approach is based upon several recognised methodologies and 40 years of experience in successfully implementing these. He has accepted responsibility for, and delivered: large and small projects, significant organisational change, technology-related projects, business development and culture change projects and customer centricity transformation. He has worked extensively with commercial, industrial and government businesses in several countries.
He has a passion for effective stakeholder engagement and customer centricity derived from his track record as a managing director, director of business development, national sales manager and business development manager with large corporations and small to medium enterprises. His career has included senior roles with Hewlett Packard, Optus Communications, Mayne, Tektronix and he has managed his own training and consulting companies since 1996. As a trainer and consultant, he has worked extensively with commercial, industrial and government businesses in several countries and has trained over 8000 people in management skills. His education includes Electronic Engineering (RMIT), Business Administration (Macquarie University) and accreditation in services marketing, export marketing, strategic alliances, project and program management, change management, team leadership and customer-focused culture. He is, or has been an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, a Fellow of the Australian Sales Institute, a member of the Project Management Institute, a member of the Australian Institute of Project Management, an Associate Member of the Australian Institute of Training and Development and a founding member of the Association of Change Management Professionals. His not-for-profit roles have included Joint Founder and State Chairman - Army Officer Training Unit Association; Trustee then Life Governor - Shrine of Remembrance Melbourne; Chairman - Gallipoli Oaks Project Advisory Committee, National Trust of Australia (Victoria); Convenor, Woodend Avenue of Honour - Wall of Remembrance Project; President – Woodend RSL Sub-Branch 2018 – 2020; Deputy Chair of the RSL Victoria State Tribunal 2020 -; Awarded RSL Life Membership 2020; Mentor for Soldier-On 2024; Committee Member St Kilda RSL 2024. |
